- Abstract
This paper argued that effectively managed internal corporate communication carried out by public relations professionals offers vital and valuable roles of employees to contribute to organisational reputation improvement. A blend of medium theory and social exchange theory was used to offer a unique way by which communication that is effectively managed using the appropriate medium could result in a social exchange between an organisation and its employees. The study adopted a systematic review to collect and analyse data from the studies relevant to the study. The study proposed that public relations professionals are in the right position to understand and manage internal corporate communication that will lead to organisational reputation improvement.
