Abstract
The author reflects on a study led by Martin Ross which examines the impact of rocket launches on the environment. It states that the study reveals that the emissions from 1,000 rocket launches could add to the climate change as much as the emissions from aviation industry. It is also critical on the environmental threat caused by the continuous expansion of spacecraft industry worldwide.
