- Abstract
The article discusses the bioconcentration and toxicity effect on lipid content of aquatic organisms. Bioconcentration of compounds have been ascertained in the environment. There are many quantitative relationships between structure and biological activity of chemicals developed in aquatic systems. The estimation of bioconcentration factors is commonly effective by using two compartments exchange model for description of uptake and depuration rates of chemicals in the aquatic environment. It is significant to examine the toxic or ecological effects of chemicals in the aquatic ecosystem.
