The carabid beetle Nebria (Sadonebria) saeviens Bales, 1883 is recorded from four localities on mainland Honshu, Japan, based on specimens identified by the endophallic structure of the male genitalia: Mt. Tateishi in Fukushima Prefecture, and Mts. Yahiko, Nokogiri, and Kariwa-kurohime in Niigata Prefecture.
