- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of law and macroeconomics in preventing major recessions and achieve stable growth and human development. Also cited are the key role by the legal academy in training lawyers to develop legal and regulatory infrastructure to mitigate and prevent economic crises, the globalization model advanced by the U.S., and the issue of whether law can mitigate the cost of economic recessions and depressions.
