- Abstract
School-based research and training for rural teachers is the main path to achieve the sustainable development of rural teachers specialization. At present, there are still problems in school-based research and training for rural teachers in China, such as poor individual research and training accomplishment, weak school cultural atmosphere, weak adaptability of training models, and imperfect training management and evaluation mechanism. The lack of intrinsic motivation for rural teachers research and training, the lack of a rational dialogue environment in rural schools, and the lack of theoretical guidance in school-based research and training hinder the development of school-based training for rural teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to create triggering conditions for teachers to participate in school-based research and training, construct a culture of shared and mutually beneficial school-based research and training, create a scientific and reasonable new model of school-based training in rural schools, and improve the management and evaluation system of school-based research and training.
