- Abstract
The article examines the changes in the structure of society that have been causing fundamental changes in the scope and character of corporate activity in the U.S. It discusses some developments in the relationship between public policy and the corporation, considers the environment in which corporations must operate, and suggests ways for corporations to interact with public policy to improve the equilibrium between private and public enterprises. The article discusses the political aspects of the issue of control of corporate decision-making.
