- Abstract
The article offers information on the role played by the insurance commissioner in monitoring industrial life insurance. It is the duty of insurance commissioner to conduct certain supervisory functions to secure the solvency of life insurance companies and the proper conduct of their business with regard to the rights of their policyholders, and in compliance with law. He is responsible for examining and approving policy forms, take corrective action where required, and see if the companies are compliant with each and every statutory requirement.
