- Abstract
Plays written in collaboration were a playful and consumer creation carried out by many playwrights of the Golden Age. Their analysis, origin, as well as their editions, have been studied in recent decades. However, research on the staging of this type of comedias has not yet been addressed globally in order to provide quantitative data on the number of joint works that were represented, the context in which they were carried out, the main theater companies that performed them, and the places where they were most successful. The study of such data allows a first approach to the impact that this type of comedias had on the theater stage of the seventeenth century.
