- Abstract
The article discusses the outcome of several proposals on the establishment of a colony for Jewish refugees in Australia between 1938 and 1948 as presented during the Evian Conference headed by President Franklin Roosevelt that was held in the U.S. It points out the reactions of delegates from Australia involving the proposals that was presented during the conference. The article also stated the positions of the Australian delegate involving the proposals on the Evian Conference involving the formation of the Jewish colony in Australia.
