JOHNSTON, JOSÉE; CAIRNS, KATE
- Abstract
The article presents the authors' comment on the book "Alternative Food Networks: Knowledge, Practice & Politics." They state that the book brings a refreshing materialist, and politically sharp perspective to the study of food culture and politics. The authors propose that a feminist analysis has much to offer the theoretical debates at the work which can help them move beyond dichotomies of agentic consumers.
