- Abstract
The article provides, tips on how to lessen or eradicate the presence of methicilin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in hospitals. Tips include use of alcohol-based hand rub and gloves, decontamination of environment and shared equipment, contact precautions for infected and colonized patients, prudent use of antibiotics, effective prevention of common infections programs, active surveillance and active screening.
