- Abstract
In response to the need for mechanized ditching and drag reduction in tea gardens, an energy-saving ditching knife for tea gardens is designed to reduce the power consumption of ditching in tea gardens. Through theoretical analysis, the side cutting edge and positive cutting edge curve equations of the energy-saving ditching knife are determined, Through the discrete element simulation method, it is determined that the sliding angle at the end of the spiral line of the side cutting edge and the static sliding angle at the end of the curve of the tangent edge in the plane of the side cutting edge are 62° and 56°, respectively. The test results show that when the trenching depth is 15, 20, and 25 cm, the trenching power consumption of the energy-saving trenching knife is 0.093, 0.107, and 0.128 kW, respectively, which are all less than the trenching power of the control general trenching knife. It shows that the energy-saving ditching knife designed can achieve the purpose of reducing ditching power consumption at each ditching depth. In addition, the stability coefficient of the energy-saving ditching knife at different ditching depths is greater than 90%, which is higher than The test results of the national standard and the control group general ditching knife show that the energy-saving ditching knife designed can reduce the power consumption of the operation while ensuring the quality of the ditching
