- Abstract
The article discusses research concerning the remediation solution advances in the management of emerging contaminants in groundwater. Information about the role of contaminant of emerging concern (CEC) in wide-spread presence and limited options for treatment to human health, is given. Information about the influence of regulatory and economic factors and type and chemical characteristics of the target contaminants in the evolution of chlorinated solvent remediation, is also provided.
