- Abstract
The article describes a case which indicates the contribution of guidance by optical coherence tomography (OCT) in rescue management of spontaneous coronary artery dissection in a 43-year-old nurse with acute myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock. Antangiography results indicated total occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery and SCAD was diagnosed due to the presence of linear intraluminal haziness. OCT is said to help ensure safe stenting.
