An interview with Dan Boyarski of the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University and his colleagues Ben Fry and Golan Levin, is presented. Boyarski identifies his use of analogies of stage performance, film performance and film editing in his media communication courses. Levin claims that there is a risk with work done on the computer because one gets caught up in all of the techniques available. Fry believes that humanity in electronic education comes from embracing the machine as a tool.
