- Title
INDIANS, JEWS AND WALTER BLUMENTHAL.
- Abstract
The article tells about the odd similarities between the customs of the American Indians and the Jews. It makes reference to those mentioned by Walter Hart Blumenthal in his book, "Of Old America," including the abhorrence for swine meat, the rite of circumcision in some Indian tribes and the sacredness of the number seven. It also mentions the belief of William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania, that American Indians were lost Jews, laying emphasis on their facial features and elderly practices similar to ancient Judea.
