- Abstract
The article presents the general public recall the years of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration space program, from Project Mercury through Project Apollo, the Cape and Kennedy Space Center in Florida and Manned Space Flight Center in Houston are the two earthbound locales that usually come to mind. Topics include the historians have also turned their attention to other sites outside of southeast Texas and Florida's space coast that played significant roles in space exploration.
