- Authors
Brown, Simon
- Abstract
The article reflects on the risks of premature menopause in childhood cancer survivors. It mentions concerns regarding prediction of the fertility effect of cancer therapy as all the girls receiving high-dose radiation or alkylating agents are not expected to completely lose their ovarian function. It also mentions that survivors of childhood cancer treated with alkylating agents are at higher risk of earlier menopause.
