- Abstract
The article focuses on the block aerotriangulation of the Republic of Djibouti. It states that Djibouti is slightly smaller than the state of Massachusetts, and is bordered by Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Somalia. It discusses that the coastline along the Red Sea is 314 kilometer, where the lowest point is Asal at -155 meter and the highest point is Moussal Ali. It mentions that the first geodetic and hydrographic expedition of the French Navy to the Coast of French Somaliland were in 1864, 1881, and 1888 to the ports of Obock, Tadjura and the anchorage of Khor Ambadu.
