- Abstract
The article offers information on a study uses feeding sign observations and community knowledge on plants to provide description of foraging ecology and diet of Bornean elephant. Topics discussed include information on high proportion of bamboo in the elephant's diet; consumption of plants like Diospyros and Syzygium by Bornean elephant; and consumption of bamboo, wild bananas (Musa borneensis) and grass species (Saccharum spontaneum) by Bornean elephant.
