- Abstract
The article discusses minilateralism as an alternative global climate governance model and its emergent discourse. The proponents of this model consider that the convention of smaller groups of primary states as an assurance in overcoming climate change response international agreement barriers. It also demonstrates the inconsistency of minilateralism democracy's deliberative and cosmopolitan theories.
