In Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga epidemiological population surveillance is being developed since 2000. These cases were analyzed assessing the incidence and tumor characteristics such as morphology, presentation disease and grade. Results: Breast cancer among women under 40 years in Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga, represents 11.6% of all cancer cases in this location. Its annual crude rate was 11.2 events per 100,000 women between 20-40 years and the standardized rate is 2.8 new cases per year.
