- Abstract
The article discusses a study to investigate the novel functions of beta-lapachone in terms of anti-metastasis and anti-invasion abilities using human hepatocarcinoma cell lines, dose-dependently inhibited cell viability as determined by methylthiazoletetrazolium and wound healing assays. The results indicate that beta-lapachone may be expected to inhibit the progression and metastasis of hepatoma cells.
