- Title
Justice as Reciprocity versus Subject-Centered Justice.
- Authors
Buchanan, Allen
- Abstract
The article discusses the difference between the proponents of justice as reciprocity and the subject-centered justice. It is revealed that the proponents of justice as reciprocity have proven that their view limits the rational grounding of justice while subject-centered views do not. Justice as reciprocity would establish that rationality requires compliance with only some of the most basic judgments about justice. Subject-centered justice appears to be capable of acknowledging and addressing the major issues of justice while providing a match with more judgments. It will also comply with the principles that are rationally preferable for fulfilling the social role of justice.
