- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the literary influence of the poet Robert Browning on the works of the critic and poet T. S. Eliot. He believes that Browning serves as the critic's critical basis and is preoccupied with his predecessor. Also investigated is the influence of other writers and poets on his work which includes Ezra Pound, Alighieri Dante and William Shakespeare.
