The article presents a criticism to Margarita Cota-Cárdenas' novel, "Puppet: A Chicano Novella". The novel discusses the socio-political condition of Chicanos in the twentieth century. The use of alternate Spanish and English language, subjectivity shifts, first and third person narration and anger were exhibited in the novel.
