- Title
Women in Nature, Women in Culture: Ecofeminism and Simona Vinci's Agosto Nero.
- Authors
Seger, Monica
- Abstract
The article examines ecofeminism and the nature and culture of women in the story "Agosto Nero" by Simona Vinci. It attributes ecofeminism from a merger of second-wave feminism and ecology movement. It notes that the story calls for the application of an economist critique as it redefines the link between woman, nature and culture. This suggests that an evaluation of nature and culture cannot be read as two separate categories.
