- Abstract
The article discusses the services of religious organizations and international human rights movements in the U.S. Religious and voluntary organizations provide services to the victims of human rights violation as well as promote public policies and institutions that support the movement. They assist the activists from third world countries in presenting their concerns to the United Nations (UN), support in disaster relief and economic development. Furthermore, these organizations include the National Council of the Churches (NCC), National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) and Institute on Religion and Democracy (IRD).
