- Abstract
The pregnant woman had and has an important ally in legal regulations, which recognize her vulnerable situation throughout the pregnancy and even after it. To the extent that digitization implies an automation of tasks that makes it possible to avoid or reduce both dangerous environments and activities in the workplace, it leads at the same time to an increase in psychosocial risks. At the EU level, there is no legislative unit regarding the situation of surrogate motherhood, so the Council of Europe sends a strong signal to the member states that have not regulated a mechanism for the recognition of filiation established abroad. in accordance with internal legislation, as is Romania. For the adaptation and modernization of the EU legal framework, which allows parents and people with care responsibilities to reconcile professional life with family life, to become a reality, new approaches are needed.
