The article utilizes the epistatic mini-array profiles (e-MAP) approach to examine gene networks in yeast. To identify the epistatic interactions in order to define gene functions, the double-mutant combinations is considered. The efficiency of e-MAP in solving limitations was established. It also has the ability to predict specific functional relationships between genes.
