- Abstract
The article reports on the ethical issues brought by a $3.6 million donation to a charity called the "Foundation for Lung Cancer: Early Detection, Prevention, and Treatment" by Vector Group. Claudia Henschke and David Yankelevitz used the money as seed money to help launch studies to test the effectiveness of computed tomography (CT) in the detection of the disease, yet people raised debate on it.
