- Abstract
Reports on a study published in the May 14, 2005, issue of "Lancet" indicating that several of the adjuvant chemotherapies and hormonal therapies commonly used to treat early breast cancer have a much greater mortality benefit after 15 years than after five years. Percentage decrease in the annual rate of death from breast cancer among women on a six-month adjuvant anthracycline-based regimen; Ways to further improve long-term survival among breast cancer patients.
