- Abstract
This paper introduced the process of 500 kV breaker trouble-free trip caused by he DC system grounding at one - point in 500 kV switching station of one domestic nuclear power station. Through the analysis, it found that the large capacitance to ground since the long control cable, coupled with the low operating voltage and power of trip relay was easy to cause the breaker false tripping when DC system grounded at one - point. In order to avoid the similar failures, the paper proposed to adopt treatments from two aspects which are the reduction of the length of do control cable and the increase of operating voltage and power of exit relay, and proposes treatment strategy of such fault.
