- Abstract
A gas-chromatographic procedure was developed for determining impurities (CH, CH, CH, CH, iso-CH, CH, iso-CH, neo-CH, CHCl, CHCl, CHCl, CHCl, CO, and CO) in hydrogen chloride using two columns and a column switching technique in an isothermal mode with a flame ionization detector; the detection limits were 0.01-0.1 ppm. The matrix was separated in a precolumn packed with urea. CO and CO were determined by reaction gas chromatography with their conversion into methane.
