- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 9-year-old female Yorkshire terrier that had been successfully given treatment after it has been found out to have bacterial cholangiohepatitis. It notes that cholangitis is an inflammation of intrahepatic biliary ducts that led to cholangiohepatitis when it is associated with secondary inflammation of the hepatic parenchyma. The study reveals that clinical pathology, imaging and anatomo-pathology allow early detection of disease though it is rare in dogs.
