- Abstract
The article reports on a woman aged 56 years who complained that she was suffering from hand dermatitis for 4 months. When preparing carrots and celeriac, she developed a severe dermatitis of the back of her hands and fingers, which spread to the palms, forearms, neck, face and feet. After recovery she was patch tested. Tests on nine control healthy subjects or on patients with other unrelated cutaneous diseases were negative.
