- Abstract
The article presents a case study of steroid-resistant membranous lupus nephritis, which was treated with plasmapheresis and low-dose cyclosporine. As per the case, a boy was admitted in a hospital due to proteinuna and systemic edema and was diagnosed as having systemic lupus erythematosus without renal involvement on the basis of external symptoms and medical tests. In this case, corticosteroid therapy showed an improvement in both serological and clinical manifestations.
