- Abstract
The article cites two medical cases with a generalized toxic pustular erythema that was confirmed clinically and histologically; patch tests with the drugs reproduced the original eruption. Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis was differentiated from pustular psoriasis on several criteria: no history of psoriasis, development after infection, exposure to mercury or administration of drugs, and short duration. The first patient had no history of viral infection, but was not investigated for any viral agent.
