- Abstract
The article reports on the proposal of humanitarian nongovernment organizations to donors and agencies to rethink their approaches to funding emergency response and humanitarian assistance. Factors to the increase in demand for humanitarian aid include the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change-related events, political instability and conflict. Emphasis is given on the need for a humanitarian, development, peace-building nexus approach to the humanitarian crises.
