- Abstract
The article reports that Australian Labor Party (ALP) has laid a blueprint that promises measures to fortify Australia's shipping industry. Former Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Anthony Albanese says ALP is to ease costs for Australian ships and place the industry footing with foreign competitors. It tells that while the blueprint was welcomed by Australian Association for Maritime Affairs (AAMA), chairman Richard Griffiths cautiously welcomed the thrust of the ALP's Shipping Policy.
