The article focuses on the application of choice of law rules in the bankruptcy jurisdiction. Topics discussed includes recognition of an insolvency proceeding in a different state under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), application of the European Union Insolvency Regulation (EUR) and promotion of universalim in insolvency jurisdiction through conflict of law.
