- Abstract
An essay is presented on the importance of Danish philosopher SØren Kierkegaard to the author. Author discusses his first meeting with SØren Kierkegaard as a student at Wheaton College, Wheaton (Ill.). The author also discusses the books "Up building Discourses in Various Spirits" and "Purity of Heart Is to Will One Thing" by Kierkegaard. Author further discusses his research work including ethics, epistemology and metaphysics and role of Kierkegaard in it. Author thinks Kierkegaard's book "Works of Love" the greatest contribution to ethical thoughts.
