- Abstract
The article describes an approach of the use of ex vivo animal simulation model for skills training in laparoscopic colorectal surgery, performed at the Welsh Institute for Minimal Access Therapy (WMAT). The two ex vivo porcine models developed for training are the high anterior resection model and right hemicolectomy model. Information is provided about standard laparoscopic equipment.
