- Authors
Flegel, Monica
- Abstract
The article discusses the historical concept of child abuse in the centenary appeal by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) in Great Britain. The campaign was designed to establish sixty child protection teams in the country at a time when it lacked sufficient public funds. NSPCC was responsible for developing a new form of criminality through the release of case studies, disclosure of maltreatments, and photography.
