- Abstract
The article focuses on the passing of the Stand Your Ground law in Louisiana as of September 2013. Topics discussed include description of the law as a self-defense law, similarities between the ground law and Florida law, and enactment of the Stand Your Ground legislation in U.S. states other than Louisiana. Also mentioned are other topics such as protection for criminal defendants claiming self-defense than others, prosecutorial immunity for defendants, and arrest in justifiable homicide.
