The article discusses the increasing number of predatory open access journals (POAJ), citing the case of the "Current Science." Topics discussed include an e-mail from a journal claiming to be "Current Science" which invited prospective authors to submit papers for a two-week acceptance for the July 2017 issue and the difficulty of academic validation of scientists in India.
