- Abstract
The article presents a case study of pygopagus conjoined twins separated surgically using multidetector computer tomography (MDCT). It is mentioned that the mother of these babies conceived a triplet pregnancy and was detected with cojoined twins at 12 weeks of gestation. It is mentioned that recent advances in imaging modalities have enabled to make antenatal diagnoses and to obtain information regarding fused organs in most cases of cojoined twins.
