- Abstract
The article focuses on the process of decolonization in tribal schools, highlighting the historical context of education as a tool for colonization, the impact of Indian boarding schools on Indigenous culture and well-being, and the concept of historical trauma. It discussed that the central theme is the need for decolonization as a collective practice that involves self-reflection, liberation from oppressive systems, and the restoration of Indigenous identities and self-determination.
