- Abstract
The article presents the discussion on exploring the perspectives of a group of students at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute in 2014 during a time of cultural revitalization. Topics include immersing in an educational setting grounding in valuing the sovereignty of tribal nations; establishing an understanding of nation building through Indigenous education pedagogy; and encompassing the finding of common ground and unity, education, core values, and community.
